Principal Investigator
Matthias Stangl, PhD
Matthias is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Psychological & Brain Sciences, and Neurosurgery at Boston University.
He is a faculty member of the Center for Systems Neuroscience (CSN), the Cognitive Neuroimaging Center (CNC), the Neurophotonics Center (NPC), the PhD Program in Brain, Behavior, and Cognition (BBC), and the Graduate Program for Neuroscience (GPN) at Boston University.
Matthias is further a member of the Memory Disorders Research Society (MDRS) and co-organizer of the Neuroscience of the Everyday World Conference.

Postdoctoral Scholar
Juliana Gonzalez-Astudillo, PhD
Juliana is a postdoctoral researcher working with advanced neurotechnologies and analytical methodologies to study the neural mechanisms underlying cognitive processes. She earned her degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (Argentina) and later specialized in Mechatronic Systems for Rehabilitation at Sorbonne Université (France). She completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Aramis Lab (Sorbonne Université, Paris Brain Institute, Inria), focusing on brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) and network neuroscience, particularly in the context of motor imagery tasks. Following her Ph.D., Juliana joined the Inria NERV team as one of its inaugural postdoctoral researchers.
