Matthias is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Psychological & Brain Sciences at Boston University. He completed his studies in Technical Computer Science at the College of Engineering in Steyr (Austria), and earned his PhD at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases in Magdeburg (Germany). He then moved to the U.S. for his postdoctoral work at UCLA, before launching the lab at Boston University.
