Matthias is further one of the organizers of the Neuroscience of the Everyday World Conference held annually at Boston University.
Matthias completed his studies in Technical Computer Science at the College of Engineering in Steyr (Austria), and earned his PhD at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases in Magdeburg (Germany). He then moved to the U.S. for his postdoctoral work at UCLA, before launching the lab at Boston University.
